RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

At Philautia, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to make it right. Please review the following return and exchange terms carefully:

Return Eligibility

  • Timeframe: Returns are accepted within 5 days from the date of delivery by the delivery executive.

  • Condition: Items must be returned in their original condition, unwashed, and with all tags attached.

  • Return Refusals: We reserve the right to decline returns if the item shows signs of use, washing, damage, or soiling — unless the issue occurred during delivery.

  • Defective Items: If you receive a defective item, please email our Customer Experience Team with unboxing photos and videos. Once verified, we’ll guide you through the next steps.

Return Charges & Refund

  • Reverse Shipping Fee: A single reverse pickup fee will be deducted from the refund amount per order — regardless of how many items the order contains.

  • Non-Refundable Charges: Original shipping fees are non-refundable for both prepaid and Cash on Delivery (COD) orders.

  • Refund Method:

    • For prepaid orders, refunds will be credited to the original payment method.

    • For COD orders, customers must provide valid bank details to process the refund.

    • Once approved, refunds will be processed within 7 business days.

Exchange Policy

  • Timeframe: Exchanges are accepted within 2 days of receiving your order.

  • Exchange Charges: Exchange shipping fees may apply, depending on your location and return type.

Return & Exchange Process

  • Step 1 – Contact Us: Initiate the return or exchange by contacting our Customer Experience Team via email (see “Contact” page).

  • Step 2 – Approval: All return and exchange requests are reviewed and typically approved within 48 hours.

  • Step 3 – Reverse Pickup: Once approved, a reverse pickup will be arranged by our logistics partner.

  • Step 4 – Packaging: Please ensure that the item is returned in the same condition and packaging as it was delivered.

  • Step 5 – Exchange Delivery: If eligible, replacement items will be delivered within 3 to 14 business days of approval.

Conditions for Exchange or Refund

✅ Covered Issues:

We offer exchanges or refunds for products with genuine manufacturing defects such as:

  • Loose seams or stitching

  • Fabric discoloration or fading

  • Uneven dye application

  • Excessive fabric pilling or fuzzing

  • Severe wrinkling or creasing

  • Any noticeable defect affecting the look or function of the item

❌ Not Covered:

  • Damage from improper washing or handling

  • General wear and tear over time

  • Alterations made after purchase

  • Damage from misuse, negligence, or accidents

  • Fabric damage caused by chemicals or harsh environments

Philautia reserves the right to inspect returned items before issuing any refund or exchange.
